How it all works...
Realtors earn ‘Referral Commissions’ when introducing a client to another Realtor
Realtor #1 (that would be us) refers a buyer, or seller, to Realtor #2.
Realtor #2 then acts as the buyer, or seller’s, agent for a transaction.
When the transaction closes Realtor #2 pays Realtor #1 (us again...) a 'referral commission’ as a thank you for sending them a new client. This 'referral commission’ is usually 25% of the gross commission earned by Realtor #2.
Then Realtor #1 (yup you guessed it.. that would be us!) donates at least 50% of that referral commission to your chosen charity, on your behalf. A win/win for everyone and potentially a great PR opportunity for the client.
Below are examples of the amounts that would be donated depending on the sale or purchase price of the property.
$5M = $15K donated
$10M = $35k donated
$15M = $55K donated
